Mandaracha Tea House is still under construction.
We originally wanted to open for Autumn 2019, but the amount of work we have for this ambitious project is still huge.
We are involving artisans from Kyoto, Osaka and from different backgrounds, so we can come with creative ideas and build a unique place that will mix tradition and modernity. Some contractors have let us down, but it came out for the better.
We still are working on finishing the inside walls, I am cleaning up and polishing the outside walls, then the garden, the tatami space and the equipment will come.
